TVS900 Basics

Question - What was the primary driver for the cross section of the pulley at the end facing the camera? Is it weight and/or balance and/or?

Looks to me like they wanted the pulley to be made of stainless (great!) but wanted to ditch as much weight off of it as possible. If you examine the pic its totally hollowed out right down to the mounting base. On the base the clover leaf says to me that the front of the drive shaft has the same pattern around the bolts. This is good because if by some freak accident you loose a bolt or two the pulley can not slip on the shaft shearing the remaining bolts off in the process.

Jan is in Philly tuning till Wed. It's beer week in Philly and today is the Pro Bike race also.

Wonder how much tuning is getting done.

Jan ask Eric to take you down to the Manayunk Wall which is a a 1/2 mile stretch at 17% grade that they must climb 10 times and the finish line has been moved to the top of the wall now.
