Jan, you haven't described the nature of the tensioner problem you are seeing, but FYI there is an excellent 4-page article (and company resources) in this August's Hot Rod on chasing-down and resolving supercharger tensioner problems on a 1000hp car that keeps throwing belts when they let-up on the gas or the rev-limiter kicks in. The supercharger's spinning mass was momentarily stretching the serpentine belt as they got off the power. Gates helped them with the diagnosis. Page 138: Hot Rod to the Rescue, if it sounds useful. RE: TVS900 Basics
good news to report...............steady 14psi to redline on the car with BVH and Grand Am cam. So over 15psi with a stock motor. Going out tomorrow to do some road tuning and then looking for a track day to test it. Harrop is looking into finding us some space so we can put the smaller pulley on. Get the boost to 18psi and see what it makes vs 14psi
