RE: R53 Jcw head
I went from stock to JCW head to Jan's BVH. The JCW was more like stock than not. The BVH--a completely different league. Kind of like Barry Bonds before and after PEDs.

JCW head only flows a bit more on the exhaust side that's all. Need bigger valves in the exhaust also.

Colin.... are some days that you are trying to put shit against me.... I don't know why.... but if you like that..give me a couple of hours and I'll write here all the stories / problems. After that you / jan will have more arguments to use against me..but I'll happy to explain all the history.
I have a lot of fair play..but I don't like when people try to put shit against me without real reasons. Sorry. |

RE: R53 Jcw head
I don't see where Colin is giving you shit here. You may be taking what he is saying out of context. He is being matter of fact. I know the way American's can say things and people not be 100% sure of exactly the meaning. Knowing Colin well these posts were not meant in a mean way. I just don't understand why you would increase cylinder pressures and expect it to get better. Then adding a C38 to it and you are increasing the risk again of a failure. That's not bashing that's just common sense. You don't have the fuel system to support that kind of power for the C38

Jan, I haven't nothing against you.. You are a friend..but some other people sometimes like to prick other people.. And if you do that with me you will get a reaction .
P.s I'll install a race fuel tank, pump , new lines, new injectors and a new fuel rail. |

RE: R53 Jcw head
What kind of tank? Is it a cell, or a replacement for the OEM?
