RE: TVS900 Basics
So what all needs modified?

I can see where the fan would be in the way, the alternator might need moved down to where the AC pump was, the water pump needs relocated, the radiator and shroud would need modified, other than that its not like there would be any cutting into the frame rails right?

Retail on a 1320 is around $3500 which surprisingly is more than the Rotrex, but you dont need some of the stuff you would with a Rotrex.

Would you have any interest in doing a second one off?

RE: TVS900 Basics
it could be done but for me to make 1 offs the cost would be 3-4x what a kit would normally cost

RE: TVS900 Basics
Couldn't you copy the stuff you already had on your car, then just modify the outlet for a FMIC?

RE: TVS900 Basics
Jan,
I know how you love development projects but....... don't pay any attention to these guys.
Let's concentrate on the TVS900 completion and....... to the rest of you guys, knock off the ideas about a TVS1050, 1325, 1408, and any other number until my car is optimized, spraying meth, and running with a stock ECU....... OK.??

On January 10th, 2014 it will be a year since we started this project....

Yup I am waiting to see what the 900 when it is all perfected the RMW way.

I have already started a TVS 900 savings account at my bank. (not kidding)

RE: TVS900 Basics
I am eagerly waiting to see what the 900 will do as well... Just got side tracked when Jan brought the big blower up.

I really want to see exactly how much pressure it can throw out before I commit to anything. Hell I still need a boat load of cash first.

As long as it can push 25psi max at sea level that will work for what I want it to do. I will lose 3-4psi just in altitude, then since I am stuck on doing a front mount, another 4-5psi will be lost to pressure drop. Sad Thats 16psi max for me, if they can crank the boost up to 25 on Dan's car. Granted it will have a little more CFM than the M45, so even at 16psi its going to make more power.
