RE: TVS900 Basics
I know that Jan says there is no such thing as too much boost......... but, if there is such a thing as too much boost this car may just have too much boost.

Jan neglected to tell you earlier that the reason we only saw 22.1 PSI boost is that at that pressure the Vipec shut it down.

This thing pulls like crazy from 3,000 RPM up and doesn't quit..... it's insane.

We should get some good dyno numbers in the morning. Then it's off to the track to run the car on Saturday. Without a boost gauge I'm inclined to short shift the car until we see temps and boost numbers.

I'd like to have a 1.8 stroker motor but I don't want to have to start on one Sunday because I left my 1.6 crank on the track with some rods attached.

The car seems that strong

Thats awesome news Dan! How often does the traction control try to spoil your fun if you leave it on?

Traction control on the track...Tits on a bull.

Congrats Dan, great news, can't wait to see the dyno numbers when everything is dialed in.

You said the vipec shut it down--you're going to eventually run this off the stock ECU, correct?
