Yeah, I realize that. New head, injectors, TVS and tune. Should be a good start Big Grin

Pretty much what I need plus meth. Well maybe a diff, clutch, and axles to put it all down haha.

Next year should be a good year.. Cool

TVS900 Basics

Question is going to be the best cooling option on stock ECU. Or, hypothetically, will the best cooling option for the Vipec work with the stock ECU, if we go TVS first and Vipec later.

Dan is running the Vipec.

Mynes Fucked.....Is yours?

If I understand the TVS, in theory, it should be cooler than the M45 for the versions that would be running a pulley for the stock ECU.

It will still be running more boost than your m45. HP is never free.Wink

RE: TVS900 Basics
everyone keeps asking the same questions

we won't know until we test it........so just sit back and relax while I do
you can be sure it won't be a 10sec blast up the street in front of the shop and called good like the sprintex testing

the goal is to be able to make 300whp period. (anything above it is gravy)
What is it going to take to do it? Not sure yet. That's why we actually test stuff here at RMW
Who knows? Might need E85 to do it. Again, this is why I'm going to test it.
When you up the boost its going to be hotter. The stock intercooler isn't sufficient to cool it where I want it.
You will need meth OR w2a OR FMIC to do the job. You can do it right or you can pay the price. It's always more expensive to do it again.
The whole idea of the kit was to be ABLE to make 300whp given the proper parts of the build. If we can't make 300whp then its a failure. The sprintex can't do it plus it's NOT reliable. The goal of this is to take the abuse and make 300whp.

Now sit back and grab your popcorn and you will know as soon as test it.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Dan is running the Vipec.

For the moment. Long term, I'm pretty sure Dan wants to run this off the stock ECU, the Vipec is for the time being while they sort it out.
