GP gauge faces!
Hey everyone, Im looking to do some sets of GP gauges.
As usual id like to find out some interest for the gauge sets looking at around 130$ for the set of both faces. I also should have a solution for changing the colour on the LCD displays in the bottom of the speedo panel if anyone is interested in that. please let me know. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

Re: GP gauge faces!
I'd be interested in a set when I order up the coilovers.

RE: GP gauge faces!
Should be able to yes. I figure thats probably a wise option to have.
Ill find out how many people we need to make this viable and keep it within a fair cost. we might have to just do a group buy or something along those lines. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

RE: GP gauge faces!
Will these have variable shading on the back to even out the light from the LEDs (which don't line up perfectly with the visible locations)? I have the outmotoring ones now and love the look, but the light level is inconsistent (and no I don't mean the portion that you can dremel out like in Blimey's thread). I also had another set but sold it (it wasn't clean and neat on the front like the outmotoring ones, just stock look in a different color) and it had what looked like inkjetted dot matrix patterns strategically placed in various locations on the back to dim the light shine through on the portions directly above the LEDs to even them out with the ones that were a few cm removed from the actual light source. These worked perfectly from the even light POV, but had that same cluttered look as the OEMs, so for now I'm just living with the uneven look on the otherwise much nicer looking Outmotoring versions.
Cockpit specialites was the brand of the ones that had the shading. 06 MCS JCW PH/PH RMW BVH, Grand Am cam, ARP studs, 550cc, Sump baffle, Shorty. 16% Pulley, ATI Crank, VT mounts, Valeo clutch, FSDs, HSport Comp rear bar, Powerflex bushings, IE fixed, Konig Feathers, Michelin PSS (17s), Alcantara JCW stuff, gray dials, other stuff... |

RE: GP gauge faces!
I turn my dash lights all the way down so they are not distracting at night. I have never needed the dash LED set at the highest setting and that is when people see the uneven light patterns.

RE: GP gauge faces!
no the factory gauges are even, the other ones are straight clear so you can see each individual led on the circuit board.

RE: GP gauge faces!
Ok I have red ones and don't have this problem. I guess I am lucky.
