RE: 2014 Aquamist/Howerton Group Buy
Is the twin tank a good idea for the r53 with the hfs-2 or is that overkill? Seems like a pretty cheap upgrade on the hfs3-4 in the last options.

If you have a R53 i dont think you need a HFS-4.
And having a larger tank is always awesome if you can spare the trunk space. I know i built a larger tank to accommodate my meth usage. “Have you ever noticed how some people never

RE: 2014 Aquamist/Howerton Group Buy
Can we get an Hfs-2 twin tank GB option for the r53? The 2 is all we really need isn't it?
tap'd on my Moto X Looking at the howerton site. Wondering if the twin tank actually fits in the r53 trunk? tap'd on my Moto X 06 MCS JCW PH/PH RMW BVH, Grand Am cam, ARP studs, 550cc, Sump baffle, Shorty. 16% Pulley, ATI Crank, VT mounts, Valeo clutch, FSDs, HSport Comp rear bar, Powerflex bushings, IE fixed, Konig Feathers, Michelin PSS (17s), Alcantara JCW stuff, gray dials, other stuff... |

RE: 2014 Aquamist/Howerton Group Buy
SCCA rules--50/50 meth can go in the manufacturer's container, BUT it must be behind a bulkhead or firewall. A fuel cell is supposed to as well if you run higher than 50/50. Unfortunately many of our local events run SCCA type of rules for insurance reasons, and the number is increasing...
So two questions: any possible solutions to place a tank in an acceptable place OR would running straight 100% WI at the track be reasonable/beneficial (100% water doesn't have any restrictions), on those occasions where tech won't allow 50/50 from an exposed tank? The only good F56 is a dead F56

RE: 2014 Aquamist/Howerton Group Buy
Had an issue with the GB setup, check the first post for the link to buy direct now.
The twin tank has been used in the 53 before, it's foot print is 9 x 12. You can use the washer tanks in the 53, if you have both you can tie them together. 50/50 will give marginal gains on the 53, it really wants 100%. We put a tank in the battery compartment of Ian's car and a stainless cover(bulkhead) over it, satisfied NASA rules when he dusted the field a few years ago at Nationals.
