steel pulley vs the 8 rib aluminum RMW TVS pulley
These are 60mm and 65mm to ............. 60mm with this kit will make 22psi with our BVH/cam/header so about 24psi with stock head (not recommended) You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity "Tuning Matters" minimark Wrote: ....as silent as a freshly fallen snow on a crisp winter morning, a deafening hush falls across the land of Kool-Aid..... |

Count me in for the above, when I get this thing off the ground... I can always build a turbo monster later...

RE: TVS900 Basics
WTF? Am I reading this right? You're going to go TVS then switch to a Turbo? I've been talking you up on LXM, I gotta get back there and delete my posts....

RE: TVS900 Basics
Damn good looking pulleys there Jan.
So where did the steel one come from? Is that what ships from Eaton? Looks a bit smaller than your 60, maybe in the ~52 range. Maybe it is meant for a larger engine, 2.0L maybe? And the 65 will deliver? |

No! I am still undecided, the car felt great on the one good run since Jan loaded the low altitude stuff... And I want to keep it around there...

RE: TVS900 Basics
Alas, I have to get a LOT more knowledgeable about how to pass NC OBD-based annual inspection w/Vipec before I can make the TVS reality. If anyone has figured out how to do this as a practical matter, on a Vipec + Stroker + TVS car... I'm all ears. Because I'm gonna "need" it...
"Passing" inspection means getting the car "normal" enough to run and pass the O2, evap and catalyst self diagnostics, at least for an hour or two, once per year. With no SES/CEL/EML light illuminated, but with the lights still functional. Ideally without having to swap any hardware (other than maybe ECU) to do it... enlighten me... |

RE: TVS900 Basics
the pulleys are made of aluminum now and will be hard anodized for durability

They were working on getting the Vipec working with OBDII, not sure where that's at, there is thread here somewhere on it. The only good F56 is a dead F56
