RE: Up for trade. 2000 B5 S4 Stage 3
knowing nothing at all about Audi, what do those mods on that car add up to in terms of power?

06 MCS JCW PH/PH RMW BVH, Grand Am cam, ARP studs, 550cc, Sump baffle, Shorty. 16% Pulley, ATI Crank, VT mounts, Valeo clutch, FSDs, HSport Comp rear bar, Powerflex bushings, IE fixed, Konig Feathers, Michelin PSS (17s), Alcantara JCW stuff, gray dials, other stuff...

Hasn't been custom tuned yet, so between 400-430 awhp. With a custom dyno tune, 430 and up. Car pulls like a beast, but I commute 40mi a day for work and need something better on gas :/ gonna be sad to see her go.

Lol no. Audi/vw has a much wider after market for tunes than mini does. It is stage 3 tuned. But it's a generic out the box tune for my turbo and fueling setup. So it is definitely tuned. It just hasn't been strapped to a dyno and custom tuned to get the most out of this car. It's not a plug and play set up its not a add on chip of some sort that a lot of people come across, it's an actual full stage 3 remap, but it's a map that's been designed to be able to be used in many different cars, hence why I say between 400-430hp. These tunes have not so crazy ignition timing and aren't designed to run the injectors to full duty, and they're actually designed to run a little rich because it's safer that way for many different cars to run that way, you only want to lean it out etc. When doing a custom tune so you get the most out of that individual car, also so you don't run one guys car great but blow another guys car up because the engine has worn different or because he's got a somewhat different setup.

Hope that clears things up a bit.

Also I haven't been driving it, don't want to keep putting more miles on it if I'm trying to sell it.

A R53 isn't going to net you much more fuel efficiency. I'm netting about 20mpg on the street. Street cam, race header/exhaust, 450cc injectors, conservative tune @220whp. Smiles per gallon may be higher in a MINI though Smile

Good luck with the sale.

Lol smiles per gallon aren't a problem. Miles per gallon are. On the street I'm getting about 17-18 a little better on the highway, but, I get on it WAAAAY too much on the highway, and at full boost the milage goes way down lol. Way more than an r53 would haha. I love the car and I will he sad to see it go, just need something realistic in my price range

I figure you are better to sell it outright.
