RE: r53 jcw brakes
400$
No need to rebuild. Has new rotors/pads Goodrich lines.

Yeah, I'm curious why you want them rebuilt. These calipers just work, in my experience. I bought used ones, installed and used the crap outta them for years with no issues. Sold them to a buddy, put them on his car, and now he's tracking them with no issues...

RE: r53 jcw brakes
that's not a bad deal have to think about it and the reason why I would like them to be rebuilt is I don't know how long they could have been sitting in general. Considering the brakes are what stopping me from hitting things I would rather be on the safe side. Not to say Colin brakes are bad but just in a general term. Also i just want the fronts.

RE: r53 jcw brakes
Certainly good to err on the side of caution with brakes... but on these calipers, there's not much to fail. They're OEM-style front calipers designed to last for decades...

Now, BBK's can be a different story.

RE: r53 jcw brakes
Its a single piston slider, they dont really fail, mine came directly off a running car and straight onto my car.
They see about 4000 miles a year.
Really if you want them great but i know i will sell them as soon as i post them so im not worried about it.

Pregunta. What do you do with the brake wear sensor when you up to the r56 brakes? Is it the same?

RE: r53 jcw brakes
Slot in the pads is the same, sensor just works, but I always eliminate mine...
