2004 Mini Cooper S aka RMW Turbo Prototype car
Time to part ways. 2004 dark gray with 110k miles on it. Has fresh RMW 1.63L motor, RMW BVH, RMW cam, custom turbo exhaust, BW turbo, ViPec ECU, alum custom radiator, OS LSD, new OS dual disk clutch, RMW 500hp axels, AST coil overs, new buddy Club 15" wheels with new tires, custom 3" exhaust, carbon fiber hood scoop, R56 rear brakes ready to go on, JCW front brakes, Vibra-tech engine, and trans mounts, 22mm rear sway bar, adjustable lower rear control arms, rear seat delete, Xeon headlights, R50 rear bumper, custom intake, stainless brake lines, 1000cc injectors... I am sure I am missing things.

Now the bad, if you buy it you either have to finish it yourself or wait for Jan to finish it and give you a bill for ??? How much. I have prepaid 15k already. I have paid Jan 25k in the past 24 months. So that's my asking price. I am throwing in the towel, not going to keep waiting with no completion date. Have 60k into the cars but it's just not worth headaches I have lived in the past 17 months.

Also have a 2003 S that was original car before it was stolen for sale. 1500 and you get that just haul it away.

Ben

And a ViPec dash also not installed.

Threw in the towel, bought a Prius.

Sorry to see that you are selling your minis. I have gotten a few parts from you in the past, via Colin. Good luck with the sale(s).

I am sad to see it come to this but it's just not worth all the suffering I have gone through on this project.

RE: 2004 Mini Cooper S aka RMW Turbo Prototype car
I was ready to pull the plug last November after I removed the car(s) from J&J and was paying Colin to do what I had already paid J&J to do.. Now it's another 6 months of kicking the can down the road. You have to look at reality and go when will it be done? Don't know. What will be the end cost? Don't know. When will the W2A be done as it's still FMIC.. Don't know.

Why keep doing the same thing and thinking I will get a different outcome?

I feel your pain. I have seen your car at Jan's and I can tell you nobody wanted that car done and duty ready more than Jan. And from my perspective the car looked pretty damn close to being done. But that's just me. Good luck in your future endeavors.

In the process of buying a new house, with a big garage, so come the end of July I will have more then enough space to bring the car home, completed or not. I'll find someone local that is capable of completing a project and I can go see the progress instead of hearing nothing for months at a time. If I cannot find someone, I'll start posting parts for sale and strip it down to a shell. There is lots of interest in parts but not a whole Albatros.
