That's the line I've been using with the wife, but none if it matters with 2 kids in college :-(

Call me a noob, but 11/32" Drill Bit and a 1/8" NPT Tap, I looked at a tap chart and this matches for pairing together, but how is the tap smaller than the drill bit? I think I'm missing something with the "NPT"? National Pipe Thread/Tap? Is this a different standard than what a Drill Bit size is?

Also, where are you guys getting install instructions? I've been out of the loop.

Jeff sent the instructions with the kit.
I had the same tap/drill double take. But it works.

I'm thinking the 1/8" NPT Tap is representative of the pipe diameter size, and not what the actual thread diameter of the tap is.
I'm sure this is in the manual, but did you tap all the way through?

You want to check and get it just right, about 6 threads left on the tap for me. The sharper the tap the better, as the plastic is hard to cut.

You will need to run the tap in and out several times and check if the adapter will thread in. Take your time, first go about 3/4 of the tap then go about 1 turn more each time you run in the tap until you can get the adapter to thread in. The plastic kinda stretches while tapping it so that is why you have to run in the tap several times and check if the adapter will go in.

Got it thanks. I've tapped plenty of metal, but never plastic haha.
I'm worried about getting plastic chips into the tract, but planning on using a bit of oil and a shop vac in the hose underneath to help as much as possible to avoid it. I don't really want to remove the whole bumper to get that whole pipe out.

you will not need any oil for tapping plastic. What I did was to remove the upper hose going to the throttle body and put my shop vac hose in it, make sure you remove the map sensor first. After I was finished I left the hose off and started the car in the hopes that the boost would blow out anything that the shop vac didn't get, then hook up the hose. You may have to clear a few codes from not having the hose on.

It is running. I only have to put the control module in the glove box. I am still playing with settings. I hooked up the fail safe on mine, but haven't set the limits yet. I will do my first Autocross this Saturday. Reading the rules it looks like no alcohol, so I will put in the smallest jet I have and try 100% water tonight.
