USA #1 I fought for my addopted country in the first Gulf War. I was in theU.S. Air Force. When you train you never think it will be for a real time situation, thank goodness for excellent training. I am still here.

Jan: Thanks for the sentiments. As a Vietnam Combat Infantry Vet I can say that it is good to feel appreciated by a younger generation, thank you.
Yes, without TRAINING the mind could not handle the stress and would therefore be useless to yourself and your buddies. WAR is not a good thing... Zooooom! |

Semper Fi? I think I joined the erong forum, lol. Jk. I was raised by a Marine, serve in the Army. Marines didn't accept me, I guess I was to smart. All is good though, all brothers in arms.
Prayers to the 31 who died in Chinook crash in Afghan 2 days ago. Biggest single loss since the war started. |

And THEN joined the Marines? Lol. It's usually the opposite I hear. My first line, one of our PL's, and BN S6 NCOIC... all former Marines. Those are just the ones I know about. They keep putting me in that class as a former, but I'm not, just raised with the attitude I guess.
