Teaser - low mileage GP for sale (not mine)
Getting coffee this morning, I ran into a fellow MINI owner I occasionally see who I have talked MINIs with before.

Cut to the chase, he tells me he has a low mileage (1300 mi.) GP for sale. He wants to sell it so he can move on to other things.

Here's the catch, I don't see him often (I don't go to the cafe every day) and he mentioned nothing about price. All I can say is I will look for him next week and get more info from him.

That's almost getting into the territory of too low of miles. Not as bad as some GP's I know of.....I know of someone with 18 miles on his Confused

Cars need to be driven to stay working properly...and your talking about a 6.5 year old car now that avg'd roughly 250 miles per YEAR. One would at least hope he's changed fluids yearly...rather than based off mileage.

Not necessarily that bad of a thing...but just something to consider when buying a low mile "special" car. I'd bet he want's at least $28-29k for it.

Exactly what I was thinking..
I have a co-worker with a 2000 Harley Fatboy 3500 miles!!!!!!

Putting your phone away & paying attention to those talking to you?
There's an App for that. It's called "RESPECT."

That is a great point.

I will ask him about how/when the car was driven, maintenance etc. the next time I see him.

Joe, Any way you can find this guy and a number.? A friend of mine is looking at 2 GPs this week-end that are in the $26 to $27K range but have more mileage. This one sounds good too. I'd never worry about not being driven enough......

GP#0936 with lots of mods and GP#1827 with none ..

RE: Teaser - low mileage GP for sale (not mine)
Update -

Talked to Paul this morning and got a lot of key information.

The car is GP #1942. I wrongly stated the car mileage: its ~13000, not 1300 miles. He is the third owner, he bought the car used from Irvine MINI with an extended warranty (which is still good). The car is garaged.

If you want his contact information, send me a PM and I will provide it. Serious inquiries only please.
