Sorry to hear man!

Things just got worse. I talked to Motoring Magic (local shop) and they said it looks like something called the "switch control module" seems to be bad and it is $700 just for the part. They're worried about putting in a new one in case it is somehow related to my install. This is really sucking the excitement out of my water/meth upgrade...

If you can get the Part ID and I can see if my buddy that works at a MINI dealer can get it cheaper

Ran the loom from the trunk to the engine bay. Omg was that a bitch on a jack stand and a car that's been in the rain all day. Got wet AND sore from twisting in every direction (c'mon I set it up perfectly, insert jokes!!). The rest should be easy, I've been in and out of that rubber hole so many times now( insert another). Lol, aka the firewall grommet. Trunk is all set. Just gotta wire controller wires, tap ecu, mount flow sensor, and tap holes. Btw couldn't find the tap at home depot.... Where'd u guys get yours

R u positive you tapped the right ecu wires and fuse?

I was sure and it was working fine for 2 days. Now, I'm questioning every step. I only put one fuse in the "add a fuse" adapter. Can anyone confirm if it needs two fuses installed?

It should need two. One for stock fuse one for additional I believe.... This could be your issue...?

It does need two fuses. The original goes back in the primary slot, the slot with the pigtail is the secondary and gets the fuse to power what you are "adding" in this case the controller.

I'll cross my fingers that's the problem. That should have been obvious. I'm an electrical engineer.

That sounds like good news. Missing a fuse is going to make things not work and hopefully makes for an easy fix.
